Dude... 100 bucks for a mouse ... maybe (as an 'understatement' in optics &) in terms of reliability - yes ... (as long as there is no planned obsolessence) But when I bought my Laser G5 more then a decade ago for ~50€ (which was the best Mouse for/in my right hand ever) - it was for my taste slightly expensive, but the 'feel' in my hand while using it paid off immediately. 'Heavy, smooth & precise' for that time - and I still miss it today :-/ . Or if you have a mouse that can be fitted to any hand foot or what so ever (like stuff from saitek)- the price tag is ok as well 😀 But tbh. it's hard to imagine, that this will 'pay off' the same way - @least when I take the shape into consideration. I don't want to badmouth this product - but it just 'feels' too expensive for me. Just my 2 cents...

HH, thanks for the review! Looks interesting... Spare Omron swithes and mouse feets are a nice bonus, wish every branded mouse manufacturer to add these into the package for mouses with simmilara price tag but sadly that's not the case.

Yeah, if a mouse doesn't fits my hand it doesn't really matter how it looks and what's inside, I'm not interested even if it's for free. Honestly I would cash out 100 buck for a mouse, but for that I need to use that mouse for at least 2 to 3 hours on mouse pads I'm used to. If I find it perfect for my needs and I'm sure it'll serve me for at least 5 years... just take my money. Backthen had the same experience like yours with Laser G5, but in my case it was legendary (first iteration) Logitech MX-518 (haven't tried newest MX-518). It was just perfect to me for gaming, but rerely use it now because I don't game anymore. Atm my most used mouse in the office is some cheap €5 MS Sharp mouse not because it's cheap but becouse it fits my hand like a glove, optical sensor inside like it was made for me personally, it has perfect interraction with mouse pads I'm using and when that thingy is in my hand it's... like it's flying, every job that needs intensive mouse usage is done at least 15-20% faster with that mouse compared to any other (somehow MX-518 is kinda clunky for office use). Can't explain that, I'm in love with this MS Sharp (backthen MS Industrial) mouse since day one. Sadly but it's not in production anymore, would buy at least 5 of these to serve me till the end of time, this one I'm using at least 6, 7 years, maybe even more. After buying that little fellya for office use I'm really not interested to try and other corded mouse. Atm at least 30 different mouses in my collection, corded and wireless, with price range from €4 to 80€ but wherever I go and bring my laptops with me I always unplug that MS Sharp mouse from my office PC and put it in the laptop bag. It's nothing more than mirracle mouse cord still hasn't been broken after all these years of wear and tear.

It's palm grip mouse. Palm and fingertip mice are totally incompatible. There cannot be hybrid. A good example of fingertip mouse is Wired G Pro. Wireless G Pro is a palm grip mouse.

You should try the new 518. It's pretty good. They are super cheap right now too. 35 bucks on Amazon. The Intellimouse Pro I think is my favorite redo of all time. Love that their bringing back some classic shapes.

If I could find new gen 518 for up to €50 here I would buy it, but they're a bit overpriced here: €65 and higher. And (haven't checked) shipping from Amazon here to Serbia often costs at least €30-40. If I buy it localy it'll probably collect the dust side by side with my old gen 518. edit Just checked: new gen 518 on Amazon: $32-35, shiping to Serbia: on average $34. Just forget it... 🙁
