I just came here for the badges, they're no longer here, was disappointed. Damn, AMD and Nvidia really give us out of season april fool's joke right now.

Seem's to me AMD want to see console sales go through the roof.

i think the price is "ok" , its definitely in the right direction , its launching roughly at the price point of the rx 480 if accounting for inflation of usd (+26.4%) best day one price/perf of any gpu in recent memory.

Even if you ignore price, this is a little underwhelming. In raster performance, it's only sometimes better than the 6600XT (which you can get a lot cheaper). It's overall better than the 6700XT in RT performance, but... both aren't even worth considering if you want to do RT. At least it is a big leap over the 6600 in all tests except performance-per-watt, which is good. I would expect 10GB or XT-level performance for this price point. As it stands, they're asking too much. It's not outrageously overpriced like the 4060 Ti, but it's still too much.

I think it's closer to 6600 node then 4060 ti node also interestingly.

nvidia remade 3060ti. amd remade 6650xt. ~10% gen to gen is beyond laughable. 2% ? why even bother releasing it if it does not even have new features like dlss3 on rtx40. this brings literally nothing new. literally nothing.

Thank you Boss for the review , well done. As it has already been said this card should be no more than ~ $200US Dollars for what it is. Performance is a little bit underwhelming , not much more to say , this is another bad pricing product just like the 4060Ti 😏...

Thank you for retiring the Recommended badge, just like TPU did. A good move. Thank you for the review too. Sadly, there's nothing to see here, just as there was nothing to see with the 4060ti.

You're right, though I guess that really comes down to what Nvidia decides to charge for the 4060 non-Ti. By the time that is released, AMD can get away with dropping their prices. Also, these GPUs are typically entry level. You should be able to build a system comparable to a console in terms of both performance and price, while expecting to spend another $200-$300 (consoles are cheaper because they're usually sold at a loss, and games are better optimized for them so you need better PC specs to keep up). The 7600 will allow you to build something for an entry level price, but not quite entry level performance. the 4060 Ti will get you entry level performance, but not an entry level price. If the 7600 XT has 4060 Ti performance but costs around $300 then that could be a pretty solid choice. The tricky part is that it might be hard for a 7600 XT to compete in RT titles; the 4060 Ti is a solid choice for 1080p with RT (ignoring price).

Wait, 3060 TIe with 6700XT at 1080p now? Ampere sure age better than fine wine 😉 Same thing will happen to 4060Ti when more ADA specific features are being leveraged

1440p 6700xt smacks any 8gb gpu :P

Undying:

1440p 6700xt smacks any 8gb gpu 😛
maybe on HUB, not in real life. in fact, the 21% gap to 6800 at 1440p grew to 24% on an updated game set. it was 4% faster than 3060ti too, now it's not.

Single graph does not tell the whole picture. 6700xt at 330$ best option right now.

AMD curl another one out.

LOL...uses more power than 4060Ti and 30% slower, it's an utter failure of a card
RDOA3, as someone else said ^^

Same as the 4060Ti from today, it does the job in 1080, even if the 4060Ti is better, this one have a way better price (despite still too high)... And people have no money.

Horus-Anhur:

Nvidia is selling a ton of GPUs for AI. And despite not selling as much GPUs for gaming as they planed, they still have nearly 90% of the market.
Half true, it is the 1st from the 3 (Intel/AMD/NVidia) and doesn't have 90% exept if you are pro NVidia...
