8k with dlss though... really not a fan of the look it gives. This is a 8k native shot, no mods. https://i.imgur.com/k6WFh4O.jpg
I agree, the base game looks better, everything in the video is just so oversharpened, white doesnt look white and everything is so damn shiny. I thought this comment to the video was good too: "I never comment on videos but I will on this one. Stop saying 50+ mods without actually giving a modlist. Your link only give a reshade preset and its misleading for views. Yes your game looks great, but dont mislead us for clickbait. I usually like your videos, but I'm getting fed up with youtubers who fail to provide modlists. It feels like a slap in the face"

That 8k shot looks awesome Dragam1337. This game is just so nice looking and it has the gameplay to match. I'm quite happy for you to post 8k shots all day. 🙂

My second favorite "modern" game after TW3 (but very, very close), looks awesome in every shot. It's also one of those games that look incredible on ultrawide monitors, it's almost like the game was made for them from the ground up. I never used any mods though (other than removing black borders in cutscenes and photo mode), might look into it at some point but imho the vanilla visuals are already fantastic.

I have been meaning to buy this game. I think it's that time. 🙂

I was one of those people sitting on the fence with this game. Wasn't sure how a Wild West game would go. But it's simply brilliant, the missions are so much fun. Some of them had me cracking up with laughter (Lenny and Arthur's drunken escapade) It's a fantastic open world, full of events and side quests galore. Hunting and fishing, I had hours, if not days just doing that part alone. The cool customizations to the look of the weaponry. And the story, just superb. Almost has you in tears at some stages. Honestly, I'm so glad a tried it out and I can't recommend this game highly enough.

I know on mine, i'm good to go at 4k maxed with DLSS quality for 60 to mid 70 fps on a 65" LG OLED and it stunning. I'd love to see it on an 8k OLED. I'm sure it's truly amazing.

Yes but without dlss at 8k even his 3090 must be crying.

Dude. My 3090 is crying at 5120x1440 and everything maxed out. Like over the original Ultra setting you can go to extreme especially with Ray tracing atmospheric fog effects. Dude this game has to be running at 15 to 20 frames per second max. Because I'm literally getting 65 to 70 at the aforementioned settings. Now if I go ahead and adjust that Ray tracing shadows and a few other settings sure I can probably get some performance but you're also losing that visual fidelity. Now I'm sure my 3960x threadrippers holding me back, but we'll see after I get my 5,000 series how well this thing will maintain itself for the next couple years.

With full OC and 480 watt power limit, i can get it to run at a very cinematic (lol) locked 30 fps at native 8k 😀 The game isn't as sensitive to res as many other games, which is also why dlss doesn't give alot of extra fps either. Lowering res doesn't increase fps much, and increasing res doesn't decrease fps much either 🙂

I totally agree, I have only felt this emotionally involved with story and characters in a game by this and the first The last of us. But this game is probably the best game i have ever played. Im on my second playthrough and have around 270 hours by now. Even now, i discover so many things that i didnt during my first playthrough. Just smaller things like at the camp, people sitting around the campfire playing guitar and singing songs for example is awsome.

The water effect is not convincing, it destroys immersivity.

So is it season for people modding their game and posting you tube vids about it or what?

This game does not have raytracing. Do you mean volumetric raymarch resolution ?

Wish this game had some extra texture pack. Would be incredible

Details stand out better on PC than on the XBox One X (didn't get it for PC yet), but even there the game looks pretty good. [youtube=7yhy2KPiER4] As for the video with them 50 mods... shaders count as 1 mod? If that is with 50 mods the changes are rather minimal compared to what can be done with fewer on Skyrim, unless mods that affect gameplay and other not graphical things are included in the total mod amount.
