The price is too high. One can get a full mechanical, programmable keyboard for less (see Corsair Vengeance K90 ).

If someone buys it, then ok... but the mechanical keyboards are expensive mostly because their switches cost a lot. I expected this product to be cheaper because it features less keys. However it costs as much as their Blackwidow full-size mechanical keyboard, which is way better option in my opinion. Just get some wrist rest if you're worried about your hands health.

i actually wanted to buy this but like everybody said that price is ridiculous, Nostromo was great i owned it but sold it pretty fast cause i couldn't get used to the less buttons in the keypad area especially MMORPGs

I currently have Microsoft Natural Keyboard 4000, and it's so comfortable - it's like Nostromo, but full-sized. The problem is that it's not as precise as mechanical keyboards and it degrades over time. So I'm looking for a mechanical keyboard to replace it, and it won't be Orbweaver, as it's too specialized. The mechanical split keyboards are too rare and expensive, so I'll probably get Roccat Ryos or Razer Blackwidow along with wrist rest, so the wrists are a little above the fingertips, like in MS Natural 4000, and I'd recommend the same to you.

$130? Even $30 would be ridiculous for what they're offering. And it comes with Razer quality, meaning it's horrible. Their mice are okay, I've used some and I still use a Lachesis, but their keyboards are below garbage quality from my experiences.

My brother owns Razer Blackwidow and so far it's been great. There's a great chance this one will be good too... but the price tag is a bit off.

I had a Blackwidow Ultimate for all of 5 seconds and the keys were not made of the grip-type plastic, they were coated in it and had air bubbles underneath making them uncomfortable and would rapidly peel (because of the bumps) losing the coating. Also the back lighting was completely screwed up, 7 or 8 keys were clearly more dim than all the rest including the "I" key which stuck out like a sore thumb. The quality was crap considering what I paid, so I returned it since it was practically defective. Still got charged a restocking fee.

Does Razer provide a reach around with that keypad?

I don't trust Razer products any more. The outrageous price is one thing, but their quality control seems to be lacking these days. I've had an Onza die on me within a month of buying it, a Lachesis that didn't even last a fortnight and my Orochi bit the dust just a few days ago 9 months after I got it. I owned a Blackwidow Ultimate for a while, but dumped it for a Das and couldn't be happier.
