I got my beyerdynamics DT150's for about $300CDN...and they sit at 5 - 30.000 Hz @ 250ohms. Sry, Razer massively overprices yet again ๐Ÿ™‚ just saying ๐Ÿ˜€

โ€œThese are the best headphones on the market for both music and gaming, period,โ€ says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder, CEO and creative director. :stewpid: That's some massive self-confidence.

Haha. That guy is blatantly delusional. I'd pit a fair number of stereo headphones for under the $100 mark against those Razers, let alone the higher end stuff.

โ€œThese are the best headphones on the market for both music and gaming, period,โ€ I wonder how these stack up to my DT 990 ๐Ÿ˜€

No comment on the gaming part, but music? Bwahahaha.

Clearly he doesn't leave his office very often...

Nor has he tried audiophile grade headphones, unless he has then he must be tone deaf. $299 can net you so many headphones that mops the floor with those kraken. Tho those who don't know no better will run out and buy it, thinking they got something good, when they paid 299 for a something that worth 50 dollars.

Sennheiser Gaming headsets are way better believe me!

Monster uses the exact same strategy... For 300$, i'd take a pair of HD650 from sennheiser.

Wow..Think I will sell my DT990 Pro for this..Wahaha

Apparently they are the typical over the top bass, muddy mids and none existent everything else. But hey that's what "gamers" want.. right?

Razer knows what's best. Shame on you for thinking otherwise.

I've yet to come by any headset or headphones made by some gaming peripheral company to be any good compared to my dt 770 pro... Else there are better things out there that cost and arm and a leg tho ๐Ÿ˜€

Well its similar to Bose, they just rely on their name and mass propoganda more than anything, and hope to attract suckers that don't know any better, and there's lots out there that are so programmed they couldn't pull themselves away from the tv ads if you put a gun to their head, we all know at least one, sadly. ..and for $300 Id take a piece of string and 2 tin cans over Razer :P gimmick gimmick gimmick :P

Well they do look more durable then most plastic headsets out there. Probably worth $100 at least. I've never heard a gaming headset with actual bass though. Interested in reviews, but by someone that is into audio.
