Does the stand really need to have RGB lighting?

If anything like their phone or mice, then I am staying well away from this thing. Who knows if they will want you to install proprietary software to harvest data +/- bitcoin for the monitor to work too (prob via the whole chroma setup)

Now comes with a crypto miner in the firmware.

Must be cool to hate razer atm i guess XD
But in all seriousness it seems like an alright monitor that least from the photo looks bezel-less which is a nice touch... too expensive for what it is without Gsync/freesync or even HDR (guess 420 nits is kinda on the low end of HDR) not really my style but on paper it seems good, if a bit of razer tax thrown in sadly $150-200 off would make this very very sweet specially if you do 2/3 monitor with almost no bezel

No G-sync for 700$? Their slogan should be "Razer - You want to pay much more".
