Not even close. 8k 120hz, is high end. My smart phone years ago could do 4k 60 fps.

It's Razer. It will die two days after warranty ends. No matter if it's webcam mouse or tea cups.

@kcajjones the fact that you were only listing res, says enough.. how much do 1200PS sound? in a car? great. in a freight train? slow. i know that i rather watch 720p@100Mbit and 10 bit color, than your 8K maybe running @5Mbit and 6bit color range. completely ignoring the difference in video quality between your phone doing 8K, vs something like a broadcast camera for +50000$ doing 1080p. i know which will look better... might wanna change you approach in this forum, most non-newbies wont be impressed by someone just posting "big" spec numbers, while ignoring the rest of info needed to make a relevant decision.

I understand bit rate, and I know there's a lot more to picture quality than just resolution, but defending this whilst disregarding resolution is daft. Resolution is a key factor in picture quality, especially at lower resolutions like 1080p. I don't care what you say, 4k has been the video standard for some years now and any video camera aiming for high specs should at least be 4k with the capability of high frame rate, high colour depth and high bit rate with good optics. This camera looks to be the usual "stylish" Razer product. All looks.

Its not me disregarding res, its you disregarding everything besides that. (how about amount of internet bandwidth needed for anything past FHD?) just because 4K is becoming the norm, doesnt mean thats the standard for webcams. i dont know that many ppl that wanna archive their web calls, and would need more than FHD. maybe i should ask for the next webcam to have a 3 axis gimbal, you know, cause my drone had one years ago..

1080p 30fps bluray quality or 1080p broadcast tv quailty? there huge difference between the 2 imo. Most broadcast/cable/sat serivices have insane amount compression i there 1080p broadcast, and that is providing it is actual 1080p alot are still stuck in 720p/1080i res with insane amount of compression. which why off air broadcast that are 720p and even 1080p look worlds better then the same res from there feeds. by time we have 8k source we will still be struggling to get 4k from such sources. cause bandwidth required. so if 1080p 30fps blueray quality i might give way to argue high "end" either way i lost faith in razor long ago and what little was left went down the drain with the rgb mask..
