Requiring a login to use a driver is a big no.
Since they started doing this I havent bought another Razer product, and I was about to because my first Deathadder had bit the dust.
They shot themselves in the foot.

I really love my current deathadder, perfect for my hands without getting RSI problems. I will get V2 for sure when needed.

The Install issue Razer Synapse with the Death Adder V1 and Windows 10 is documented. It was nightmare to fix, but I resolved it at last. But unnecessary madness. Love the hardware, just think the software should be improved. Like above, should not need a login account etc.

Lady luck smiled on me.
Although a HUGE wall just collapsed on my house earlier tonight and I might have to move out!
She gives and she takes.
That was a long time ago, I'm well settled now with a G502 Hero.
This broke in the same way (mouse button failure) but I mangle-ingly unbroke it and its still working!

After getting 2 "sticky click" problem plagued G502s I gave up and bought a Basilisk thinking the similar shape would mean it's comfortable. Seemed that way but it instantly causes heavy pain like no other. It also still had the notoriously terrible Chinese Razer RGB quality... I expected after all that time for it to be improved/fixed.
I hope this new Basilisk is not a wrist destroyer to those similar to myself. To this day I haven't used a more comfortable mouse shape than the G502. When my Steel Series Rival 650 finally kicks the bucket I really want to get a mouse with that shape again... and a wired one. I didn't even think about sealed batteries when I bought the Rival 650. So now I run it with LEDs off to extend the ultimate battery life. Sad. Bigly.
