120hz sounds nice till you realise their is almost no media to consume this with, most media being in 24/30/60hz formats. and that i'm assuming if this is on 24/7 even on the OS display then it will burn your battery much much faster since the pixels would have to work twice as hard as your typical 60hz phone. if this only turns on when the media is in the right format to allow 120hz then i ask what is the point of this? with very little to almost no media out there that supports this. That and no headphone jack >.< don't follow apple

Well sure videos etc dont support 120fps but isnt it good they push the tech so maybe there is soon more content for it? Also what I heard it have somekind of g-sync thing so its not on 120hz all the time if you have still image on the screen etc.

But what's the point? Are we going to start playing twitch-based FPS like csgo on it?. It's just making something work harder, lower your battery life, for no benefit. In general, i agree that just because something is not useful "now", that doesn't mean it shouldn't be developed, so that way other things can adapt to it and use it. This, however, i don't see any future for, as it'll bring little, to absolutely no difference to the end user, unless we start using phones as a replacement for PC gaming.

Would be nice and all, however last i checked we have had 60hz for a long time on tv and phones, yet movies and to be honest most media is still 24hz. So that thought train doesn't really go anywhere. sure some people might do some 120hz stuff, but it was be a small selection that you may or may not ever use. with Movies and TV the biggest form of media

Marketing using numbers =) But I must agree with points already mentioned...no content for these...quad HD...120fps, we are lucky if we get 60fps content on phones and as powerful this SoC is, I doubt it can handle great graphics and physics at 60FPS, I don't even talk about 120...my guess would be, that phone cannot even recreate true 120fps. I think it's only frame doubling or something, like samsung uses on their TVs with 500hz refresh rate. Everything comes down to killing the battery. Who'll kill it first? Edit: Razer declined their quality drastically, I don't trust this brand today. Edit2: No headphone jack? Missed opportunity. We hate headphone jackless phones don't we?
