That's a nice looking case, I've been keeping an eye on Rajintek for a couple of years now and they continue to impress. They have some fantastic HSF/AIO units available.

Now I am going to have to choose between this one and Thermaltake Core P5 tempered glass edition.

Thermaltake product look fine, but tend to get bad with time. at least from my own experience. For the price you can try Raijintek and give a try. 🙂

Why use glass, weight is so many heavier then polycarbonate ? Or I'm just stupid ?
Because PC can get cloudy over time. And if you want high-quality PC that doesn't get cloudy then you'll pay a premium compared to glass.

Yeah and I am kind of liking the Raijintek split design better. Finally found a MSRP on the Thermaltake core p5 tempered glass... Ouch: $249.99 ( but this is directly from Thermaltake so maybe it will be cheaper at Amazon and newegg when they get it) http://ttpremium.com/product-tag/core-p5-tempered-glass-edition-atx-wall-mount-chassis/ Now to find the Raijintek one.

Why are they open!??? There is no glass on the top or front of the case... this is just asking for trouble with dust, spillt drinks, food, pet hairs, etc, etc.... Who on earth designed this case with that in mind is a moron. Sure we have open test benches but that is what they are for, testing. Not full 24/7 standard PC use.

1. Dust is an issue with all computers, if anything this makes cleaning on the fly easier due to not having to open the thing up. 2. Personally, my computers aren't situated in places where drinks could be spilled on them. I have never in my life had that issue with my computer. 3. Same goes for food, why are you eating off your computer case? 4. Not everyone has pets, but this goes back to the dust issue anyway. Your complaints are totally situational, not everyone will have to deal with those things. I like the case, there's definitely a market for this sort of thing, as evidenced by mtrai in this very thread. Open case designs are becoming more and more common, I know a lot of people that run their systems on test benches 24-7. People are not morons for having different wants and needs than you.

You still have to clean it, no matter the material. Okay glass no scratches, but if it breaks it breaks, poly scratches, but it can be polished to be clear again ?
no, there is structural change in PC over time which can't be "polished away". this is not there for glass. also tempered glass is rather robust, not unbreakable, but more robust than standard window glass. and sure, if it breaks it breaks, but it's not like you would buy such a chassis when you are going on LAN conventions every week. and how often do your windows in your house break? (untempered glass...) raijintek obviously put longevity of the structural appearance on the top spot here. they dont expect you throwing around the chassis in your room, just because you lost a round in BF1. 🙂
