Here's hoping for release day availability. Nvidia's launch couldn't have been botched more so this is a great opportunity for AMD

Indeed, need to capitalise on Nvidia delivery issues if parts are similar in performance. However they don't want to rush and replicate what nVidia did. Will be interesting to see the pricing structure as well. NVidia pricing looks to already have been more value orientated than 2xxx series as they think AMD will be more competitive.

I hope we see some benches or at least a few numbers to be able to judge how well the new cards perform in relation to Nvidia. Also curious to see how ray tracing works and performs on those new cards.

I want to hear from Scott Herkelman and Laura Smith regarding real-time, OpenGL, OpenCL, webGL etc, and, hopefully hint about the future of game development direction for AMD. What can we expect for developers? ninja edit 31st October. So - I'm still quite shocked that no one even mentioned the absurdness of having a fake stage, fake camera angles, fake presenting to a fake audience. I watched, waiting for them to have people applauding, with a fake clap machine. WHY O WHY DID THEY DO THIS??? I had high hopes for AMD, now, it would seem - I find them to be highly condescending, and CLEARLY think that we, as potential customers, are the dumbest people walking the earth, who have no idea that this was: A) Not on a stage B) Not a presentation to a crowd C) Not a live event You know what they should have done instead of this? Drop us a PDF on email, because, this was nothing but a waste of shareholders money. The lighting, the fake camera, the scripts they wrote, the training they went through, the 'sitting around a table to discuss outfits'...all those cups of tea and coffee to talk about the 'presentation'. What a waste of time. HH could've summed it up in 1,000 words...oh wait, he did!

Don't think I've had this level of overall excitement for pc tech since about 2011 when I got a i5 2500k and a 570. Probably looking at a 5700x with a 6800 for the new year unless AMD forces Nvidia to do a 12GB 3080ti at about $900

I can't tell if I'm excited, or if I've drunk too much coffee... o_O CHOO CHOO! ALL ABOARD!![/H-train]

Alright AMD, you just got time until December 10th to get the cards out, don't disappoint me.

I think this might be the first time I could get convinced to upgrade although I'm ok with how my PC performs right now. But they really do have to deliver both in performance and price. I will definitely not be pre-ordering though.

So when is actual 3rd party reviews / benchmarks of these new AMD cards going to be available then? These presentations always contain nothing concrete - trust them as much as a late night shopping channel advertisement trying to tell you how great the latest vegetable slicer is - but wait, there is more!

Here is the link to the AMD Youtube channel with the premier and the times. It seems like the stream will be in 4k. [youtube=oHpgu-cTjyM]

Just give me a card that does not sound like a helicopter/get as hot as a vulcano in a pricerange of 600$ ish that can sort of compete with the 3080 and you got my money!

Please stop it. Enough is enough ๐Ÿ˜€. I need some 250$ mid range that will double performance of GTX 1060. That is even possible ? ๐Ÿ˜€

Why? Just wait a year or so to play the game, it'll be much improved. I played Witcher 3 for the first time this year and I almost regret that now that they're going to be releasing a RT upgraded version.
