lmao @ that price There's greed and there's sheer insanity. They have utterly lost their minds. The mental backflips some people will do to justify buying this are going to be pure gold.

probably. the number of 6900xt with included waterblocks all are bunched around $2k- $2.4k while the air cooled cards can run even higher (esp. Asus). given that MSRP of reference 6900xt is $1k then this XFX card, is incorporating scalper pricing into MSRP. even with the EKWB "bounty" this shouldn't be more than $1,500 MSRP. Dick move XFX

If you believe what the stores and importers are telling, the card manufacturers themselves raised their prices considerably. They didn't want to sell "cheaply" (though it never was cheap) to the stores, who would then ask scalper prices from their customers, gaining a huge profit. Just like the stores earlier didn't want to sell cheaply to the scalpers who would then make a huge profit (and probably not even pay taxes). Right now new graphics card models are overly expensive right out of the factory. It wouldn't surprise me if AMD and Nvidia raised the chip prices as well, although it's hard to say how big batches the card partners ordered in the beginning. If AMD and Nvidia are still trying to fulfill those, they probably can't raise their own prices, at least not more than to compensate for Samsung and TSMC raising the fab prices. I recall hearing memory chip manufacturers did raise their prices, as well as other component manufacturers, though those others aren't as significant in the price of a video card. In other words, everybody's raising their prices and gamers are the only ones suffering. Ultimately game studios will also suffer when PC gaming starts to drop or shift to cheap games with iGPU level hardware requirements.

PC hardware has been one of my passions since i was 8 years old when i disassemble my first pc (my dad's old IBM 386), i have been informed and up to date in this pc world for many years, i have built a lot of computers. But this days i just don't care, i can't buy none of the good stuff and talking about gpus i can't buy none of the stuff, i'm really leaving pd hardware behind, it is getting boring or just fun for people with more money to invest in it.
