Wait. In that chart it shows them receiving a hundred cards from powercolor and yet they didn't order any of them?!? Is that correct? I mean it's in the chart and I see it. That is if my eyes are working right now... Painful is correct regarding this chart.
Yes that's correct. They didn't order it explicitly but they received cards from them because powercolor offered them directly. Sometimes manufacturers also approach to shops with direct buyout offers. It then depends on the shop if they take it or leave it.

If this continues, Intel has an once in a lifetime chance to beat AMD and Nvidia at the same time, all they have to do is actually release a good GPU that people can actually buy!:D

I see a normal demand for a new gpu, can't figure why they (both) continue to say that they weren't expecting so much demand they simply made no cards.

No, grey sky for weeks is making everything sad. Someone needs to make business out of fake Sun. Some light source that simulates entire frequency spectrum we get to experience in summer.
So... a tanning booth? I know those are typically just UV, but UV is what separates sunlight from just being in a brightly-lit room.

Let's just see if Intel can keep up with their own supply. They have contracted TSMC, after all. Either way, Intel releasing their own products from their own facilities will help spread out the demand. The extra competition ought to lower prices too.

Sure, that thing covers Solar radiation spectrum as well as would piano with one string cover subject which we call music. 😀

I edited my post after you sent yours, but to reiterate: a tanning booth covers the spectrum that normal ordinary interior lights don't offer. Although UV light can damage our cells, it's also what helps us produce vitamin D. Basically, what you want is a room full of incandescent bulbs (since they'll cover the IR to visible light spectrum, and the heat) and a few tanning booth lamps.

Well, my theory is that they're being sold by the pallet in bulk to miners direct at the manufacturers warehouses. 🙄
good guess, as Nvidia has sold Ampere directly to miners at "release". over $175 million @ wholesale worth of cards at first day of release, all FE.

As I understand it that whole rumour stems from one site practically nobody's heard of who hint at it with an article behind a pay-to-view paywall.

So light on the chassis as well. They literally weight nothing!
Now that was funny:p What can we do...if we can't find them at least let's laugh about it...

I don't think large scale mining farms are buying any of the new GPUs in bulk. It makes no sense since the hashrate, power consumption, and especially price is not a good value at all for miners.
