I never said it was, neither fiji or 980Ti was out when i bought a 980. I simply meant that if i go back in time and get to choose again, i would pick a 290x. But i'm happy to have picked a 980ti over the fiji. Edit: and also, if it'd between fiji and 980 at near the same price point, fiji is the obvious choice.

Because this thread is about the fiji that will be released soon and i suspect the price will be close to the gm204 Which only hypothetically leaves the Ti variant of Maxwell to be desirable, specially knowing what i know now that i'd even take a 290x over the gm204.
