Just want to try something new. I know the 680's are better, but I figured with that bundle, it's too good to pass up. Nothing is set in stone yet. Still want to see if the 4930k is worth upgrading too and also need to run the upgrades past the warden too lol. Besides, my wife mainly uses that rig for her side job. I doubt she'd notice the change anyways.

Not this article again. There is no proof from AMD that this has any truth to it.

So it will go EOL when the next series come out then. AMD is pro at dropping support. (Sorry i'm still not over my 8 months 5970 disaster)

2x 680 FTW+ I've use PowerCooler in the past, just not anything custom. I was looking PCB for the Devil and it looks pretty sold.

I would not buy a PowerColor 7990. Well I wouldn't touch anything made by PowerColor really but especially not a flagship card. Maybe if it was a cheap low end model....

that's the price it should be considering u can get the 7970 for about 350$
