LOL 1080p, 100hz, this is basically a 7 year old monitor. What a turd.

lol I've seen plenty of 3090 buyers getting a 27" 1080p for it because it had the boldest gaming design or something back when the GTX 295 was the hot thing, everyone around me thought paying so much for a GPU was total insanity

Oh I totally remember people slamming GTX 295 owners. Then the Titan happened and those people were quiet. I have a co worker who wants to buy a 3080 for a 27 inch 1080p monitor. And has no plans of getting a 3440x1440 or 2560x1440 monitor. World is a strange place.

To be fair, this monitor is being marketed towards office use, not gaming, and a 30" ultra wide is comparable to a 24" 16:9 monitor, which realistically doesn't "need" to be 1440p, not saying it can't, just saying there's not a whole lot of 24" 1440p monitors out there, most are 1080p, so it makes sense an ultra-wide 30" would be 2560×1080 I, personally, would find this monitor to be too small to do most anything with, gaming or productivity, etc. but i know there are people out there that do like the size of a 24" monitor, but may want more real-estate to the left and right of it. And the majority of them, i'd even say 99% of those people, are not looking for higher the 1080p ultra-wide resolution, gaming or otherwise. But the 100Hz may be something they would be looking for, even as a normal desktop user.
