1000w 🙂). How do they even dare to claim this amount of power?

Always hated this plastic toy look on hardware in general.

What kind of power? RMS?

Indeed, I dare say between 65 - 150W RMS, the B&W Zeppelin has 100W RMS and probably sounds way better (and looks waaaaaaaaaaay better)

Does this mean that I'll be able to go out and be a nuisance playing Led Zeppelin tracks at full volume with one of these fitted as though I was watching them at the likes of Glastonbury? 🙂

It's a portable guitar amp 😀 Could do impromptu black metal gigs anywhere 😀

But it doesn't look that cheesy and it hasn't got all these lights.

Pyle has always been known to do this on their specs. It's 500W 'peak' each channel. They then add both left and right channels together to make it appear its super powerful. Keep in mind, this is 'peak' power. It's not RMS. You wont find any information on RMS on their site because the way they try to manipulate their specifications to make it look more powerful than it really is. So 'peak' power each channel: 500W(L) + 500W(R) = 1000W Now take into account what the rms probably really is and it's going to be much much lower and no where near what they try to sell you on. (probably lookint at just around 100W RMS. Of course since only the Peak is documented, it would take someone that owns one to measure it). Its big specification spam for non audio folks who don't understand what they are looking at. They will buy this product and run around bragging.."I GOTS 1000WATTS! I GOTS 1000WATTS! haha *Edit: i would also like to point out that if you google this, only tech sites are advertising this news. Through the 1st 6 search pages there are 0 audio sites advertising this product. It shows that they are pushing this on folks that aren't as familiar with audio specifications.

This is why I stick to the name brands like Pioneer, Yamaha, Alpine, and Klipsch. Yes you pay more, but at least their specs are more honest and you get an known quality product.

according to amazon reviews for some of there stuff, they dont give power adapters that are powerful enough to push the the wattage needed for some amplifiers. seems like a cheap company thats sells stuff based on wording

Depends if there is an bunch of us retired people aboard the train. You know that you NEVER underestimate ANY retired person as you also got to watch out for those very large handbags elderly women have. That being said I haven't been on an train since the 1950s when I was an little kid, but I know in Europe train transportation is quite common.

it's power output... to have musical output think it is 1/3 of this... to have RMS output it is more or less 1/2 of musical output. btw it is not bad output, but 1st i would check quality of the sound, without quality power is nothing.
