This get's more and more interesting as time goes by... Gonna try BF3 now. If that does not work I think the situation will go from interesting to down right annoying 😉
EDIT: God damn it.

Punkbuster seems to have a bad rep as it is but this is not helping things. Amazed they don't get dropped altogether at some point for something else like Steam's VAC.

Hackers will be rife using Public hacks that are free, Going undetected.
Luckliy i dont play any games that involve PB anymore.

EA forum staff have commented on it being down in the BF3 forum section. They are as puzzled as the rest of us as to what is up.
Some have had luck with setting their DNS to google using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as alt. I tried it but I still could not get to the sites but some have said it cured the in game problem for them.
Battlelog Forum sticky.

sounds like dns poisoning or evenbalance just ran away, lol.

On Call of Duty 2 we are using a third party anti-cheat called TZAC.
It works together with PB.
The only pb kicks we have are the random "losing key packets".

Just as I got back into BF3 this happened lol. Can't connect to any server, except the ones with PB off wich are few and full of hackers.

I don't understand why EA uses this BS? PB is as bad as one of those f2p Chinese MMO anti hack programs.

I stopped buying EA games long ago because of Punkbuster and similar anti-cheat schemes.

I bet a lot of people miss the good old days where you could host a server yourself to have some fun with friends.
Achievements and Stats ruined it all.
