Sony mentions that Project Morpheus is targeted to the PS4 only for now. Let's hope they'll reconsider soon after the recent FB/OVR merge news. As a consumer electronics company selling more devices to more markets seems in their own interests. Crosses fingers.

I don't believe Oculus is dead just because of Facebook's recent acquisition and there are many others who feel the same way, but regardless of that this is great news for VR, it's finally going mainstream I can't wait to see how all these devices compare.

Oculus is dead to a lot of people now simple because "Facebook"... I was looking forward to getting one... not now. You will find some people don't want to associate with certain companies, or put money into certain companies.

Oculus is dead - because to think that the project can move ahead without an audience is impossible. The audience died with the Facebook announcement. We will rally around Sony's gaming centered VR headset, especially if it is allowed to be used as a display and not stuck to proprietary PS4 software.

well just from my own observations on the oculus forums, there is still a huge support base for Oculus, there's alot of negativity flying around since the FB merger but that's too be expected, only time will tell but it's far from dead at this point.
