Because in the basic 49 Euro case the material is thinner due to complete box make it rigid once closed. Because it need more manufacturing, trick to hide things and design. Because it's from a brand (in this case they are not too greedy, so it's OK) But if you are a bit skilled you can do nice case mod, when i was young, i have used an emptied charger for forklift and used motherboard support and back from an old enermax case to do a fun thing and painted it like army thing with real "radioactive zone" warning riveted on it https://areicinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/EagleSmart_ES6000.jpg it was a kind of that charger i used 🙂 it was fun *edit* when you empty some of that: use electric shock protective glove... condo are really big.
