So does this mean Galax promotes cheating? seeing they were mentions as involved in this? they create Nvidia GPU to sell. Not sure why any company would want to be mentioned in anything involving cheating

No. They specifically state in the video that they reported the issue to Futuremark, they just wanted the community to be aware of the problem.

It got fixed already for firestrike and I think Timespy too .. unless its now a new (trssaa) flag to adjust +LOD.
EDIT: just checked full video ah its now reapply all 😀

It's a benchmark not an online competitive game so what? The point of a benchmark is more for your personal benefit of receiving a visual of gains or losses for optimizing your performance or for your consideration in choosing hardware as a consumer than it is for anyone else but anyone that buys a card strictly on a set of benchmarks alone is asking for trouble as its far from the first time anyone's tried to mislead their consumers. For every one cheat potential found and reported there are several others not reported. It's the ones that haven't got caught and is why I would never buy hardware on benchmarks alone.

Thanks for sharing. Please, in my video I has explained that some benchmarks allow that tweak, and it's necessary to improve the scores (allowed in Hwbot, Catzilla, Unigine Heaven, Superposition, 3DMark01, 03, 05, 06, Vantage etc). The reason of the video was not personal ofense, accuse anyone, but to teach that tweak (LOD, TS), to be used in VALID benchmarks, and I has informed that I DO NOT RECOMMEND because is cheat. There are people who practically live for OCing. Benchmarking is vital for them.
I was merely talking about how whenever there is any activity at all where cheating is somehow imaginable, someone will find a way to do it.

pretty much yeah^...however>... you're only as good as the product of your content.

it not really a big deal as long as you cant change the benchmark settings.
driver tweaks are a ok with hwbot and relay if you run it more then once why not.
so its just hiding the fact you changed lod not giving you a higher score
even no tess on the amd cards is ok its tit for tat tweaks between brands just run what you brung
it is shaky on finding the proper nv lod with fs anyway think only fm and gamers care about the valid stamp on top.
I guess its good way for the pro guys to use the tweaks and claim valid links sometimes this guy crys a lot so not sure what his deal is
