It will just get so hot that a devil would feel very comfortable sitting on it, as if it was back home downstairs.

Honestly, I know people like to rag on Powercolor gpus but I have only had the best of luck with them. Starting with my R9 290X and now my RX 480 Red Devil modded to a RX 580 Red Devil. Also it seems that the last driver update did the usual AMD magic or it might of been also the new windows 10 insider build 17040 that just came out. I was testing my PC yesterday after these updates and having just received my RMA replacement Ryzen 1700X and noticed a huge jump in 3dmark firestike and other benchmarks. Yes my GPU is quite overclocked, tweeaked with bios modding and using an old AIO cpu cooler I had but still that was a huge jump in performance. https://www.3dmark.com/fs/14159259 Here is my firestrike comparsion with the new RMA 1700X, my original 1700X (week 07) and my last run with the i5 6600k https://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/14159259/fs/14008326/fs/13910715

Runnin 3 Powercolor R-9 390's here. NEVER have had any issues with them...

Still plugging away with my FuryX's. Couple more years before I'll upgrade. I've had Powercolor before I never had an issue. Nice looking card, but i would end up tearing it apart and going with a water block.

Same here, Powercolor does really good job with their cards, excellent cooling and great pricing. Never had a problem with their stuff. In electronics there's always some failures, I guess some people cannot tolerate that, but they forget it happens to every brand.

What is it with the custom Vega cards and 3s anyway. 3 8-pin connectors, 3 BIOSes, 3 fans - Half-Life 3 confirmed? πŸ˜€ Joking aside, really looking forward to seeing V56 custom cards. Although given the snail-on-sleep-pills speed with which the Vega custom cards are coming out, I'm expecting custom V56s in Jan-Feb 2018.

Agreed. All my AMD cards have been either Powercolor or Sapphire. The build quality on the Powercolor cards and the cooling is top notch and I haven't had a single issue with them (~5 Powercolor GPUs so far).

How you gonna do that with 4GB Vram. Im already pushing the limits of my Fury Vram in some games @ 2560x1080 on high settings. Thats the only reason I wanna upgrade to Vega 56 at least. 8GB Vram and also some extra FPS ofcourse. FPS wise, my Fury is still kicking quite strong. Ive owned Sapphire(many) and XFX(4 R9 290(x), and 1 HiS HD 5770, MSI HD 3870, for AMD besides 1 ATI version of the 4870. Only 2 XFX have died, and their warranty was amazing. Truth is most of my AMD cards still work till this day, most of my nvidia cards dont. Half of them I never even overclocked. I just feel AMD gpus are built tougher for the long haul. Sapphire cards are built very well. IMHO way better then EVGA.

I play all my games at 4K with High to Ultra settings with no issues so far. When it does I'll turn down some of the graphics settings if needed. I really only notice the differences if I stare at a stationary shot. In game I don't.

In some games I notice quite alot from high to medium. Its a curse of having perfect eyesight. Ironically, notice in racing games the most. Im a massive graphics whore when it comes to racing games. Most other games it isnt an issue. I play GAT5 only for modded cars and using my steering wheel with manual transmission mod. And that game with graphics mods is one demanding game. I would have bought a 2nd fury if they werent 4GB vram back when I bought mine. It was only $225 brand new. A month later every A-hole wanted $400+ for them cause of the mining craze. Still over 300+ for them used on ebay.

There definitely is some more activity with custom AMD Radeon X Vega boards. The next in line is PowerColor who is showing a Vega based all custom design cooler, the Red Devil is coming at ya.... PowerColor Teases Radeon RX Vega 64 Red Devil and Red Dragon Info
Generaly the 3rd bios is for custom extreme cooler like LN2 bucket etc... 666Euro is evil πŸ™‚ considerating that is not too expensive compared to original card.

Update from WhyCry at Videocardz: "Just got an update from PowerColor. The clocks are correct, but pricing is 'complete nonsense' = it's going to be cheaper."
