This is not a mini-ITX form factor.... It's simply a dual-slot card..... I own 2 mini-ITX cases that this card would never fit in....

Thats a limitation of your cases then . There are half slot gpus that also can be longer then this card. I have a GT 1030 2GB that is exactly like that. 2 slots but half height but longer then this gpu. Most gaming mini itx gpus are dubbed this because they are barely longer then the pcie slot. Eventhough my fractual node 202 can fit a GTX 980 strix in it, i prefer smaller gpus like this.
