60 Hz Only 60 Hz?

Finally something in good size/resolution after resonable price.. I dont like their logo and stand/feets but price is fantastic. Its nice to see HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.0 hub as well as IPS panel type there. Contrast 1200:1 sounds good.. just wish black level, and brightness will be also good - then we have recipe for almost perfect screen. :)

Good option for wall mount instead of overpriced smart tvs that got huge lag.

This 43 will be perfect for having windows 10 with no scale on 4k, really looking foward to this monitor.

Too bad it isn't an 120hz monitor at that size and res, I know 3D vision2 is on it's way out, but I would love to have an 43inch monitor with that functionally. That stand needs to go, no way that would fit on some desk, it would take up my whole folding tablet that I use for a desk.

Don't know about others, but I would very much like to go up in size on my next monitor. I was on 27" 1440p for years, and sadly other than the new ultrawide curved monitors there is not increase in size. I would pay good money for a 30"+, 1440p+, 100Hz+, IPS, and Gsync (preferable) and that would also keep the 16:9 aspect ratio... This one might be a bit too big even for me, but for its specs, the price is actually quite good.

Only 60 Hz?

This is a 4K monitor. Is your 970 SLI able to sustain +60FPS at 4K in modern games?

Is it really possible to work comfortably with monitor of this size ?

Price is indeed good.. for me if it were almost any other display manufacturer, and I was in the market, I'd likely go this route, however Philips? I just can't get behind that brand.. they've never been the pinnacle of quality in my experiences with them over the years.. wouldn't trust that investment.

I think if you far away from it it is, but i doubtful if your really close to it.

vizios 43" 4K can be grabbed for ~500, has local dimming, and when internal processing is turned of (aka game mode), has no noticeable input lag running desktop/games in 1080/1440, which also eliminates the need for a 980ti...

For the last 4 years I've been using a 42" HDTV "bedroom TV" for my PC. I would hate to have to go back to using a smaller 22"-28" monitor. If I did it would have to have Gsync and all the other goods. I love a big screen for YouTube or just browsing the net but most of all I love to play games on it. Is there input lag? Only if you don't switch it to the game mode setting, which is on 24/7. I cannot feel any input lag whatsoever and I am picky as hell when it comes to that because I use a keyboard and mouse for gaming. Am I breaking my neck or having to move my head around to see the whole screen? No of course not. My desk chair is measured at 5 feet away from my TV. For those of you thinking about getting a big screen like in the article, I would go for it. One day I will switch to a Gsync monitor but it's going to need to be big.

Play a fast paced FPS like UT or CSGO and then come talk to use about input lag on a TV.

No freesync or G-sync?

Im using Panasonic 50" right now. When I play PC games or desktop use, usually I sitting around 150cm distance. When watching movies/YT with friends/familly ~180-250cm is good. But fun thing is (without even start my PC!) that is nice feature. No problem sit closer or very close to the screen - pixel density is still very good for any kind of use. I have Input lag on mine around 38-50ms (deepend form mode). Its not fastest, but its playable any game without problems. BF4 is not problem. Spotting enemy snipers or far units its pleasure. Bigger screen is very tolerant for set custom FOV. CS: GO or Quake (fast games) is obiously bit worse. Only coz it will reduce good players skill. And we know in pro gamming evry milisecond have matter. Pro players will also preffer higher refreshrate etc.. TV's are not targeting for proffesional gamming anyway.. its more for "comfort players". When input lag is above 80ms (some "bad" TV models have) then wil be for console or casual players just fine. Point to have huge TV screen is something called "visible resolution" You not losing any details, see clear image, can have local dimming, high brightness, and more...

Some Sony's or Samsung TV models have low input lag around 21ms. Not to mention FHD TV's have usually even better input lag. One of mine (retired) Philips 37" FHD had input lag 0-10ms! But thats old "shoes". Some problem can happen if we like exacly just specific brand or model TV which have worse input lag.

No freesync or G-sync?

I can't understand why they would miss out on putting freesync on this monitor. It would increase saleability hugely. But sadly it looks like no freesync, so I'll wait until a korean brand repackages the panel with freesync and buy that instead.

wonder if they will make a 30-32" model that would be gooda for me my poor old U3011 are getting old
