I have the X2hr, you can found good deal on them regularly on Amazon. Great sound at a good price. But be aware those are open design can, your surroundings will hear you and you will hear them. And while they are not bass heavy, they still give you a warm sound.

Oh dear, Hilbert please stop writing silly stuff about things you clearly know little about. A short while ago, you stated that it wasn't possible to hear the difference between 320 Kps and lossless quality of music. None of the headphones around the £350/$350 cost are audiophile. Popular headphones at this cost include models by Bose, B & W, Sony. Where does audiophile start? Certaily it's double the cost of these Philips Fidelio X3 headphones. I didn't realise being an audiophile had financial gatekeeping as a necessity. Also in the link you have provided the cheapest headphones they offer are in the same ballpark of cost as these converting $ to GBP.

Even in your silly web site the starting price is 300 quid, which in USA will be 200$-250$ and 150$ on sale

That's really funny. I can imagine someone spending 2 grand on a DAC getting annoyed at the thought of something sounding great for much much less while being called audiophile.

There is a lot of placebo sarounding the audiophile community ! And a lot of em riding on a high horse . Audio gear except after some point you hit one of the harder walls of paying a crap load to get very little back .... And often results that are very subjective since not everyone hear the same ....
