PCIE SSD's need to go down in price. They are very fast, but they come at a very high premium.

Finally something new in the M.2 SSD market!
Samsung 950 was the only SSD with good speeds and affordable price.
I don't like the adapter it's ok for someone who don't want to buy a new mobo but some manufacturers are also using similar pci adapter solution to add usb 3.1.
I prefer integrated M.2 ports (and two of them) on mobo but right now asrock extreme 11 is the only X99 mobo who has 2 Ultra M.2 slots (PCIe Gen3 x4) and option to raid 0.
Too expensive due cause it includes 2 PLX chips to allow x16 x16 x16 x16 quad SLI/CFX.
