I wonder why no one tries to make half-height passively cooled cards...

I would assume it's because they can't disipate enuff heat unless they made some weird three slot half hight card.

Correct, heats needs to go somewhere so you need some sort of buffer to take in that heat, hence you will need quite a bit of radiator surface area.

I wonder if someone will ready test it, because in lots of cases is passive model such slower than active one and its model issimply label.
Has 1050TI same or bigger TDP as 750 TI?

Probably the best cooled 1050 out there, put a single slow running fan on top of it and you've got a great card.
Would this have been released about four months earlier, my HTPC would be running one of those now.

fantastic HTPC GPU right there. it may run a little warmer than with a regular cooler, but in certain situations accoustics take priority over lower temps (as long as it is within acceptable limits of course).
low spinning AIO cooler for CPU and this = practically silent system 🙂
