I wonder why no one tries to make half-height passively cooled cards... Will be looking for a review of that one.

I would assume it's because they can't disipate enuff heat unless they made some weird three slot half hight card.

Correct, heats needs to go somewhere so you need some sort of buffer to take in that heat, hence you will need quite a bit of radiator surface area.

Awesome concept. If it doesn't throttle, it could be great thing to have in living room media pc. With console performance

I wonder if someone will ready test it, because in lots of cases is passive model such slower than active one and its model issimply label. Has 1050TI same or bigger TDP as 750 TI?

It is not half-height. And we've already seen it. It is a total overkill, no need in such monstrocity. BTW, it is 1080, not meager 1050.

I think its about 75W for each but no fan on this card saves some wattage . I do not think they wanted "just enough" cooling so they went a little bigger edit Base Clock : 1290MHz / Boost Clock : 1392MHz anyways Hilbert will have a review up so will see how he does

Probably the best cooled 1050 out there, put a single slow running fan on top of it and you've got a great card. Would this have been released about four months earlier, my HTPC would be running one of those now.

fantastic HTPC GPU right there. it may run a little warmer than with a regular cooler, but in certain situations accoustics take priority over lower temps (as long as it is within acceptable limits of course). low spinning AIO cooler for CPU and this = practically silent system 🙂

Limited to 75w since does´nt have 6-pin PCIE power connector
