I think the power supply requirements are a little off. Same with the AMD hardware their numbers are also to ambitious. Bran new top of the range maybe but most of us don't have top of the range that is bran spanking new.

I haven't yet seen a new Nvidia 3XXX card in my country yet and I live in Europe. Are these cards for real?

No, I don't think so. I placed my buy order on overclockers.co.uk on the day of release, finally managed to get an invoice, with money out of my account, a half hour after official sale happened for a 3080 Strix OC card. I didn't realize afterwards that it was all pre-orders, stock simply didn't exist. Since the day of release, specifically 33 minutes after release, I am still waiting for my card. Movement in my queue have been cancellations. I find it hard to believe these cards exist outside of reviewers, influencers and .jpg for e-retailers.

Oooouh, no. Looks majestic? It looks like the cheap plastic you get in packaging, the type you throw away!

Here in iran u can buy as many as RTX 3080 u like but its pretty expensive almost 1800$ https://meghdadit.com/product/112584/asus--%D9%85%D8%AF%D9%84-tuf-rtx3080-o10g-gaming-%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%81%D8%B8%D9%87-10-%DA%AF%DB%8C%DA%AF%D8%A7%D8%A8%D8%A7%DB%8C%D8%AA/--asus--tuf-rtx3080-o10g-gaming-graphics-card/

Oh my God. I'd rather wait than pay well over 3090 prices for the 3080. Hopefully the people in Iran have other alternatives in getting the card at MSRP!
Unfortunately we dont have.To your knowledge a regular salary here is 100$ in a month.

That's madness. Is the cost of living there also high or does the cost of living match the monthly wage? For example, in the Republic of Ireland our wages don't catch up with inflation, and cost of living is also one of the highest in the European Union.

Well that depends. Me personally have two jobs and my rig mining etherium on idle times can make almost 250$ on a month so i can have almost a normal low end life but worker with the basic 100$ have a really hard time living a regular life. Regular worker salary is 100$ in a month which equals to price of 1000 liters of petrol.Imagine how awful our economy is.

What is the point of writing reviews of cards that are not available in the retail channel? They're sending you samples of cards that don't actually exist and you're perpetuating this by writing reviews. Call them out be it Nvidia or AMD as paper launches as other sites like Hexus. Don't end your review with they are scarce, basically they are NOT AVAILABLE. Speak the truth or are you too scared they won't send you another card? Wake up Hilbert and smell the coffee you're turning more people off your site with these reviews. Stand up and be counted!

That's a bit mental. My heart goes out to you, worked two jobs before and it's hard to get out of it.

World is relative. 1000 liters of petrol costs here 2.5 times minimal wage. And people work for that.

Dunno about Europe but I got a 3080 today in the US, probably going to swap it for a 6800XT though.

Europe 🙂 World really is relative. Here, $100 a month is barely enough to eat well while cooking and not using costly food delivery services. Roof over head is like $500~600. Even internet costs me like $30 and it is not exactly great. In Eastern Asia, there are places where living standard is much more reasonable when one has $100 a month. Sure, low income is prohibitive to ownership of newest and greatest things. But on west, low income is prohibitive in other ways. Like working minimal wage in village is fine. But one would not be able to live alone in larger cities. So, salary there is higher, but eaten locally by necessities, while people are not left with much afterwards. Someone who lives and works alone in my city for ~$1000 a month does not have bad life, but does not have money to buy modern HW either. (Sadly, our culture loves to live in debt, so people buy things even when they have no money. And in time their debt is paid, they overpaid 10~20%. Reducing own life standard and while they are at it, they get into another debt.) And it is really hard to persuade people to look into future instead of "I want it now." In general, west lives Facebook life. Where most people try to put out look that they are well off and happy through ownership. And hope that if they persuade others to believe in it, they themselves will start to feel it. Or maybe they think that others gained happiness through looking glass of others, and that they can too. But in reality, one can see people who burn their yearly savings on new iphone, $700 jeans and other trash. People who have depression because their apple watches are not newest generation and they are afraid that someone will notice. I think that as long as people are able to escape western materialism and find meaningful hobby, they can be truly happy. But in my years, I managed to pull very few people from traps of our world. And seen many to fall on their face and sink into mud because that was exactly what they wanted. Then I could get into really stupid part of our culture. Like people complaining that they have no money, but burn $100~150 on cigarettes and $100~200 on alcohol each month. But I think everyone gets memo.
