BLEH!
Why are smartphones STILL increasing in price. I don't wanna spend £800 on a flagship, or a bit less than that for the OnePlus...

Tell that to Samsung.

OnePlus was good, but now it's expensive so it's useless and crap, thank you but no thank you. Xiaomi are the only ones worth it right now it seems.

As a proud owner of 1+1,1+3 all I can say. It's been emotional 1+, but no thank you. For that price am coming back to Xiaomi or smth else. Anyways the 1+3 will last good couple of years at least for me

Too expensive.
For that price i prefer a S8 and i would have technical support in Portugal.

They all are trying to mimic Apple designs. Why? Because it sells.
Samsung has been doing it for years, LG has, HTC has, Motorola is about the only big company that hasn't.
But let's be real, aside from antenna placement Apple does not hold a patent for a rectangle device with a black back and 2 cameras side by side. There's only so much you can do with a device design.
Extraordinary
Who cares if it looks like another phone? It it's a good phone I don't care if it's an identical clone of another one

I tried to see where you got this fake picture from and as far as i can tell, it was used on twitter to try and do exactly what you are doing. And as well there were some smart people on there, thankfully, who noticed its a complete fake.
They do all look like phones, because they are all phones.
Can't help that you can't see reality.
Exactly.
Where oh where do you think you could get an S8 for that price?
According to this, the cheapest one will be ~$513, which means in USD it will likely be somewhere between $499-$549
Cheapest S8 you can get is $724.99, around $200 more expensive, and that's for the S8, with less ram, let alone the S8+ for $850
Because: Life. Everything gets more expensive, mostly due to inflation, but also due to newer technologies generally costing a premium.
Personally, i got the Moto G5+ for $300, and couldn't be happier at the price i payed with the performance it offers, you don't always have to go flagship.
Tell what to samsung? That they got sued by Apple for the same reasons you guys are coming up with?
So, basically what you're saying is you're ok with Apple deciding to sue, and win, for someone making a cellphone, because it was not apples cellphone?
also, your picture is a fake. I'm not saying that using an actual picture you could try and say they are similar, but the problem with the picture you used, is its not the same design as the picture used in this article. There is no band right above the cameras. Nor does the camera look the same, as on the iphone, the outer casing kinda "rides" up to the camera. According to your fake picture, the one plus does this as well, even though it doesn't. I'll post a picture of the iphone 7+ casing "riding" up to the camera as well as a direct comparison to the one plus 5. It's not even as close to the edge as the fake picture implies. Someone made that picture for the sole purpose of making people believe it was a direct copy, and apparently it was successful on some people.
Agonist
LOL my G5 has dual rear cameras. And one is a wide angle. I can take a photo with 3 cameras on the phone.

To even further showcase how fake that post is.

Not even placed correctly, way to far to the left, again, to try and make people believe something looks like another product.
