Well yeah, it's machine learning, you're right there. But what this machine learning does, so far, is what we already know is becoming easier. It does not add anything new yet. So actually, just like crypto coins, it doesn't do anything new.

AI will revolutionise the world - computers are involved in pretty well everything these days as they already improve most things, and AI makes those computers a lot smarter. That won't mean small changes - AI is the difference between you driving the car, and the car driving you. Something as simple as ChatGPT - which is a very early AI system - is already amazing in what it can do. You really can ask it do to random stuff and it comes back with surprisingly good answers - often at the level of a subject expert. It's gonna really stuff up written homework as it can answer most questions better then the teacher. That said it helps the teacher as well as they no longer need to write the questions, they can just ask ChatGPT to do it and it'll probably do a better job then the teacher at it.

You feed it data , the more the better , and is extremely good extrapolating and finding patterns humans can't, in physics , medical , materials... And a lot more science fields accelerates it's advancement to an unthinkable till recently degree.
