Looks Tasty, but I guess it's 275W and I miss in release notes ECC notification (they probably just forgot).

Will this become a Titan refresh lol?

Be more optimistic: the 785 once AMD's new $550 flag-ship arrives in a month or 3.

Do nVidia do a pro version of SLI like AMD do?

It'd be nice to able to get a professional card at sane price. Anyone who wants one for 3D work as a hobby can't just simply buy one due to the price. I miss the days where a software mod would turn a GeForce into a Quadro. Come to think of it, it'd be nice to get any card these days at a sane price.

I see it now 790GTX, 15smx, 3gb ram, same double precision like 780gtx and higher clocks. A possible response to AMD 9970 if its a 2560core GCN2. 🤓

790 i dont think so.. but maybe a Titan XL .. they have need bin the GK110 agressively for keep 225W at 900mhz ( around 900mhz ) and full SMX. Still possible, but its a question of price and performance . it will be more interessant for them to release a card higher of Titan, or they will be a conflict in the lineup and prices. The second thing is thoses cards will not start shipping right now, Nvidia allways annonce professionnal cards months before they are in the market. ( tesla K20 was annonced 4months before been really available outside some specific case, like the titan HPC and some other HPC centers ) . its funny, because in reality i was think they have allready release this K6000.. ( well a Quadro version of the Tesla K20 )

For home, you dont really need it, all 3D cad and other software of this type are fully compatible and work perfectly well on "standard gpu", you dont need ECC and other stuffs at home. And ofc, i speak about computing stuff ( most CAD software dont use GPGPU fully for the render, only for specific task .. ).. My 7970's work perfectly fine with inventor, 3Dmaxs, Blender ( openCL ), Autocad, Maya etc..

No. Performances optimized: Quadro is for workstation programs and normal applications while GeForce is for gamings and normal applications. 😉 I will buy 2 Quadro's and 2 GeForce's (all top-end single-GPU cards) in one PC with new high tower maybe in next 2 years. 😀 Because Quadro only may get performance and compatibility problems for gaming. 😉

How can it be TitanXL if it could have crippled DP like 780GTX and only 3gb ram, means lower $$$ then Titan, still even with more SMX.

Because the difference on memory and DP will still bring this card faster in all situation of Titan.. Titan is not really practicable on Dp parts, you need to switch on DP mode if you really want DP performance and its not the 3 to 6GB who will bring any difference in a benchmark. And like i said, its a question of price for Nvidia, they have the need to bin the chips and so they dont have much available, they want more money of it. A Titan with 6gb and a little jump on performance is more likely, for me anyway. This quadro is in the work since more of 7 months now. They had just no time for release it because they was busy with tesla production.. So they was now the spec of this quadro and what they can do with it when nvidia have declare, " the 760 is the last card of the 700 series. " but this can left a place for a second Titan. Thoses Quadro will not available on market before some months ( October ).. first who will be served are workstation OEM... Its possible Nvidia will try counter AMD with one, but looking they are working on Maxwell, i have some real doubt about it.

Difference on memory and DP? Lets assume its like I said 3gb ram (not 12gb), same crippled DP like by 780 which is ~ 580GTX, ok a little faster, so how can it be faster and $$$ then Titan? Edit: by faster I meant faster as a whole, including DP. The only difference compared to 780GTX would be 3more SMX and maybe faster clocks, rest is identical. In 780GTX VS Titan; less vram and lower DP will cut the price almost 40%, other 10% is for 2SMX less.

in portuguese!? Workstation programs are AutoCAD, Maya, Adobe Prremiere Pro... Normal applications are NV/ATI demos, samples, other GPGPU (CUDA, OpenCL...) and no-GPGPU demos interactived and non-interactived... Especial applications for Quadro required or recommended - eg: NVIDIA® COMPLEX™ (do not support GeForce), medical... demos (for GeForce performance limited)...
