It seems like they brought in an army of SW devs to fix quite a HUGE amount of issues that came with 9.0.0 It's really awesome that they're keeping really old hardware (2015-2019) with new Android updates, though... many are asking when is the next Shield revision coming along (HDMI 2.1, 8K, AV1, etc.)
