It's more the consumers that I'm thinking of, not whether Nvidia themselves can handle it.

Why do I have to explain everything to you lately? Do you not recall AMD causing confusion just by adding 1000 to their APUs? This is the same thing but worse, because Nvidia is adding 2000 and it's targeting a completely different market, despite the naming convention implying it's part of the gaming lineup. Next year, we're bound to see an RTX 5000 series. Logically, what do you think comes after 5000? Even if Nvidia does a complete rebrand, there's still going to be a 6000 series. Yet, it's going to be 2-3 years behind, so uninformed consumers are going to be like "why are these products worse than last gen?" and because they're workstation parts, they'll also ask "why are they so much more expensive?". Some will just simply be confused when the 5000 series is released and yet 6000 is already there. Even if Nvidia does a complete rebrand after the 5000 gaming series, there's still going to be a 6000 that people might think to look to if they don't know better. It's just unnecessary complication. If there won't be an RTX 5000 series (as far as the name is concerned) then perhaps this won't matter that much.

it's not even a geforce series, lol. if an average consumer is as bad at comprehending this simple fact as you, yes, they're going to be a little confused when deciding whether to buy an rtx 6000 for higher the price than geforce rtx 7000. seriouly,the imaginary problems amd fanbase complain about..... as if there weren't any real ones. you know those don't even have the xx60/70/80/90 part in the name ? they're successors to a4000/a5000/a6000 rtx 6000 is not even a series, it's a sku. it's you who very much needs explanations.

Riiiight... When's the last time you yourself ever said "GeForce RTX 3060 Ti" (looking at the GPU you have now)? When's the last time you heard anyone say "Radeon RX ####"? Most of the time when someone mentions an Intel processor, how often do you hear them say "Core i7"? People drop these names all the time. Enough with the fanboy BS, because you seem to happily ignore all the times I criticize AMD but the moment I point out something stupid Nvidia does (and even in this instance, compare to AMD doing the same nonsense), you try to make it a matter of biases. A bit hypocritical. And sure, this maybe isn't that big of a problem, but as is usually the case, just simply having to explain the obvious to you, it sounds like I care a lot more than I really do.

I already told you rtx 6000 is not a series, it's a single sku, how hard is it for you to understand. it's in the actual news you never read but still complain it's too hard for an imaginary consumer.

You'd be a lot easier to get along with if you just spent a half minute extra with some attempt to meet people half way. Based on threads I watch, I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. It doesn't matter if it's a single SKU since it will be confused with a RTX 6000 series. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be other variations of this GPU, too. See my last post about the whole GeForce thing.

let's start by you telling me what skus exactly will be confused.we don't know if there will be geforce rtx 60 series and even if,this rtx 6000 card will be long eol by then. how can it not matter if this card isn't a geforce or doesn't have 60/70/80/90 sku part. lol.
