Good, it'll be prepared for a custom bios.
The TBP is now rumored to be 800 Watts for the board design. Mind you, that's not the actual GPU power consumption, but the maximum power delivery a board can handle.

I'll simply unvolt the crap out of the RTX 4060 if it has a TDP of 320 Watts, i don't care if that reduces it's perfomance. My limit is around 220 watts for noise and heat.

Then wait for the 4050. πŸ˜› I have a 250w gpu now and the noise and heat is insane when there is 30+ ambient temperature. I can only imagine 350-450w gpus like a heater being turned on in the summer.

Yeh, i may have enough getting a 4050, or 4050 Ti. I do want to be 1440p ready, but only 60 FPS.

I don¨t know, but I think this might be getting a little bit out of hand...

if he waits for a lower spek gpu he wont be getting the benefits of the silcon design. higher core count. he be better off doing what he said rather than your suggestion.

Im at 1440/144 ultrawide so i need something like 4070 but considering a 400w gpu makes me think twice.

If 40 series can uv good as 30 series then it makes sense. πŸ™‚

I'm ready with 2x 1300w and Mo-Ra radiator πŸ™‚

Although I'm dismayed at the massive power draws GPUs are heading to, at least good to know they are over-building the cards with higher power limits than will be needed for most buyers.

Buy the cheapest 4070 and UV it instead of premium 4060

Bloody hell, we're going to need a power phase in our houses, just for the PC.

I guess we should just buy one of these instead of a boiler πŸ˜€ Seriously considering all is going off in the world, i wish they would give us efficenance, the 30 series was in my mind pushing the boundaries of power but this would just be insane

The green color in the nVidia logo isn't that green after all πŸ˜›

Uv+oc is a must. πŸ™‚

I think they should advertise Undervoltage as an essential feature.

They may need to bundle PSUs with some of these cards.

Under-volting is very handy tool. I use it myself as well, but the vast majority of gamers buying these cards are more the plug and play type.

Finally getting the Bitchin Fast kind of card gamers have waited decades for! Lol, this could be the generation of video cards that trigger a knee jerk reaction from a poorly informed politician. I say, embrace that. Maybe even have the card talk to you while your PC idles. "It's time to frag!", and when you're gaming, "No mercy!", "Finish him!, "Valhalla!". Put streamers on the back where the air vents so it looks like the exhaust from a rocket when you're stressing the card. 😎 [youtube=ZmCEXbspWuI]

These sound quite capable but I'll wait for the refresh with (hopefully) improved power draw across the series. This inefficiency (or lack of nvidia giving a crap) is a bit absurd. I have space heaters that don't work as well as modern gaming PCs to heat a room.
