(€531.18 WHQL).
:) Everything about Nvidia has money signs in front.... Expect tons of internet memes with VSR - ON/OFF. Anyway good for them - at least they are doing something not like others.:D

The others are trying their best just to get the basic functionalities working correctly 😀 VSR is a nice little addition, with Quality level 1 the GPU only uses a tiny bit more power (20W more with 1080p video) so I will just use it.

This is interesting and welcome enhancement by NVidia. Just downloaded this new driver now. Few questions: 1. Does Firefox not work with this? i only browse with Firefox :-O 2. Does this video upscaling tech work with stand-alone Windows media players like SMPlayer, KMPlayer, VLC Player? Could it be added to them somehow or could I modify or change the LAV video decoder (which I normally have set to be the decoder being used globally by all players) to use this new tech. Maybe LAV will get an update to support it? It would be amazing to have realtime AI quality video playback of local content. 3. Is this "AI" quality upscaling like DLSS uses or is this just a simple 2x upscale and sharpening filter? 4. Any indication on playback that it is on? or how do we know? - like a watermark or logo appearing for a second? 5. A shortcut to turn it on/off while playing would be nice (like the in-game overlay shortcuts)

well this is great for anyone who bought Ampere after Lovelace was released (and even those b4). for a 1440p gamer looking to upgrade an older system the rtx 3070ti and above suddenly looks attractive at current prices. there is a boatload of 3080's out there too Unsold New Stock, but of course there are even more used mining cards. i wouldn't recommend for 4k as the newer cards are so much better and the rx7900xt (non X) slays anything below $1k - even with rt

But ....but how google then can bundle 4k YouTube behind a paywall and make it seem appealing? 😛
