Definitely the best streaming device. I've used consoles, Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, and others and still prefer the Shield over all of them. It's silent like the smaller streaming devices, but still has a capable UI / gaming controller with a headphone jack. Game streaming from my PC to the Shield works surprisingly well over both wired and wireless connections (even when separated by two floors). The new color space feature sounds interesting. I'll have to test it out and see if it makes any noticeable difference.

For the money it's easily one of the best purchases I've ever made. It does everything I need it to do, and it does it well.
