Pascal numbers look promising! Could we break the 2GHz barrier on air, same TDP as the 980Ti?
pacal numbers would be more appealing if a gtx 1080 was same performance as 980ti sli for £500

i remeber watching the nvidia boss about a year ago he said pascal was gonna be 10x faster then kepler and maxwell but the benchmark is a bit faster than a 980ti , be intresting if he talks about the 10x faster in this stream

He was talking about deep learning, people took that out of context.

Way they picked time... They sure don't give a F* about Europe. Could have picked 1~2PM PST, and They would have European, Australian, Eastern Asia and Russia audiences. Only Middle East and Western Russia would have it at night time. But not, they have to pick Europe as night zone.

That's not what he said. You should rewatch the conference.
He was talking about deep learning, people took that out of context.
Not only was he talking about deep learning, but he made a joke about the 10x speed up being "CEO Math" right at the conference.

hehe I know how you feel my friend, just had it this way with the Overwatch beta launch at 1am our time instead of maybe earlier so everybody could play on the 2nd, not only the Americas 😉 But...

True, it even showed 'lacking maths' on the slides. Was just BS and marketing, not 3D performance indications.
