Sounds like a monster if true

32GB memory would probably be for the Quadro/Telsa versions of the GPU. No way on earth is there any need for that amount of memory in a gaming system at this current time. Maybe in the next 10-15 years.

I think they are simply saying HBM2 can do up to 32Gb of memory....

I wouldn't be so sure...just look at what we had graphics card memory wise 10 years ago GeForce 6800 Ultra 512Mb - 2005 or 15... GeForce2 Ultra 64Mb - 2000 I'd say graphics cards will likely have 32gb on them in the next 4 years. 6 max.

Make sure that lousy game developers are gladly to dump all graphic data in that memory !! new era of console ports .

Exiting times will come with the arrival of Big Boss GPU 🙂 I am specially saving for this, if it is all it was hyped to be then it may just blow 100% more performance than its predecessors. Go NVIDIA!

Wauu, must...buy 😀

Well, that's my country. If I can raise enough money, I'll assault that Cargo base. Just give me the word and I'll get it done.

Wasn't this supposed to be based on 14mm process?
There were rumors that Nvidia might use Samsung to fab it -- but it seems like that's going to be mobile only. TSMC is fabbing Pascal on 16nmFF+.

Too much of GTA5 😀

Imagine what Just Cause 3 would do then. 😀 The chips pass around Bangalore all the time. I'm starting to feel greedy now. Nevertheless they are useless currently.

You will need a driver for your raid, and another to actually use it :P

Hope the X70 card matches or beats the 980Ti. I will grab two. Just can't justify buying a 980Ti right now.

Prob safe bet a 970 matched a 780ti at less than 1/2 the price.

Amd better get to work, nvidia is one tick ahead. Go amd go!

If its gonna be that "slow" they can keep it. For such massive spec it should be at least min 50% faster.

That spec isn't real. It's not going to be 17B transistors on the GPU. A chip with 17B transistors would be priced at like $1500+. 16nmFF is currently more expensive than 28 per transistor. Not to mention the increased cost on yields of HBM2, etc. If a 17B transistor card comes out it definitely won't be for consumers, will be Tesla only or something. The GTX1080 (GP104) will probably be like $500, 20-25% faster than a 980Ti and roughly ~7/8B transistors. 12 months later they'll ship a 1180Ti (GP110) and it will be like 20-25% faster than a GTX1080, will be priced at like ~$650-750 and be like ~9-10B transistors.

I'm Denying these facts 😀
