It was supposed to be way more power-efficient than the 600/700 series. 75W doesn't look too good for low-end card, unless they switch the naming and x50 becomes mid-range.

My bet for the GM110 and Maxwell in general is its going to be another "High-end" *wink wink* mid-range card with more ram than sense, then well see an over-expensive Titan like card, that will in turn be beaten by a ti variant "high-end" that'll cost a few hundred less, after that well see a million mid-range etc ti versions of the 850,860 & 870. I dont see anything this year except maybe Star Citizen and The Witcher 3 being all that taxing to warrant an upgrade. I think most current High-end users here could probably last another year or 2 just by going X-fire or SLI.

Thats why I`ll wait for the 20 nm Maxwell refresh,they will leave the best for the end,just like they did with Kepler,until then all I need is a G-Sync monitor.

Probably because it's still on 28nm..wait for 20nm

i'll wait for better driver utilasation and see real performance of the new range
