Seen the rumours around 3090 ti kingpin apparently it's going to have 2x 12 pin connectors for total of 1275 watts of power delivery, 600w each from 12 pin connectors an 75w from the pci-e slot. Crazy power draw, going need mini nuclear reactors to power pc rigs soon.

That super low bump i RT and Tensor cores is a big letdown, ofc NV will price this high af and milk people like crazy.
The price / performance ratio will be low.

It was expected there was not much left to enable to begin with. To get a sizable more amount of rt and cuda cores would have to make a new chip and of this chip not all will be able to become 3090ti then they will have to release a 3085 or 3080s and 70s and possibly 60s . Better binning and better yields is what allowed this one to exist.

This is the first time a new GPU is released that won't make me jealous about my card.
With just a few % in performance it's not really gonna make much difference in games.

same for me , I really don't understand why Nvidia release this card ?
availabilty problem on all cards of the market and and Ada Lovelace in few month.
3090 owners will keep their card cos this 3090 Ti was not enough powerfull compare to 3090 Fe (All 3090 FE achieve 1 Tb/s on Gddr6x memory) and in game , the few cuda core of this 3090 Ti will not make big difference (like 3080 Ti et 3090)

Because they have a bunch of fully working GA102's sitting around and can charge more for it, fully knowing they will sell out of them. It's basically a no brainer for Nvidia to sell this card.
