Cyberpunk for sure needs even more power than a high end clocked 3090 to max settings and keep near 60fps @ UHD, I know because I have one.
However, I'm sure I'll laugh when I see the launch price 🙂

If the difference is similar to the 3080Ti to the 3090 then why bother.

Because people who cant get current cards will pay the premium for a more powerful, even more costly card.

If you can even get one is another story. It took me 6 months of waiting to get my 3090 and i had to buy a full PC even just to get one.
Some sites in the UK have retail stock and builders stock available but mostly retail is behind in their supply so any new cards are mainly pre-ordered and that's why i had to have them build my PC. I've always just built my own PC but that's the length i had to go through.

The 3090ti will have 12 2GB chips bringing total board power down, this in turn means GPU power can be ramped up.

pass, to much wattage usage and to expensive just from a msrp view that more wattage then my current system pulls including my gpu at load.
I been wait list for one of evga 3060/ti card for 6+ months have not hear anything back from that includes a 3070 and 3080

I understand well.
I waited 2 months in a queue (from 1st moment of release) for a 3080 with no sign of anything happening, not even a queue position.
When some 3090s actually appeared in shops I bought the best one, QUICKLY!
Shortly after that they were also nowhere to be found from then on, I got lucky.
You gotta do what you gotta do once you realise how bad the situ is, well done sorting yourself out.

One year later my 3090 asus strix oc is still listed on german stores with around 2,5-3k€ per card. Man I was so lucky to grab mine upon launch for 1854€..
