Its just an RTX 4070 driver support, no fix, no performances improvement, no stability, money first and finger for us ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜Ž

when i saw the headline i got really excited there would be RTX performance improvements for Hogwarts Legacy - I'm typing now to express my sadness that it doesn't seem so ๐Ÿ™

Increase in DPC latency observed in Latencymon [3952556] Applying GeForce Experience Freestyle filters cause games to crash [4008945] Should've just held back until those were fixed....

So, is this for everyone or only 4070 users?

Release notes 'Supported NVIDIA Products' section shows 4070 and all GPUs that previous driver supported

Also I like how they never mentioned Destiny2 flickering, only crashing with older 515, and 517.48 fixed it. 517.48 was also my go to driver with 980ti until I switched to 3080ti in december., while for example old 512.94 fixes any kind of flickering that was changed in driver process. edit: @ManuelG are those smoke textures, reflections issues with game assets? but older 512 driver is fine so I really don't know anymore.. for example a friend with Amd rx480 8g doesn't have water flicker on Neptune in Hall of heroes..

Please keep this thread about driver feedback, further personal attacks will end up in a timeout for a week!

Looks like my hunch about shader compile issue with UE wasn't that far off.

Getting crashes in Cyberpunk 2077 with new full RT with DLSS 3 FG and DLSS quality using 4K as a base, GPU-Z reports VRAM usage around 22GB lol Some crashes are not even logged in Windows journal, others mentions ''\Device\Video3 Error occurred on GPUID: 100''

pagefile on and 1:1 with memory or higher?

Pagefile on yes, but its on 16GB I believe, my system RAM is 32GB, should I set pagefile to 32GB too?
data/avatar/default/avatar27.webp
Event Viewer logs nvlddmkm error at the end of the OCCT video ram test when memory is full [4049182] This is the main reason for your "\Device\Video3 Error occurred on GPUID: xxxx'" crashes. We all must wait for fix from Nvidia.

I did a lot of back and forth with virtual memory, looking high and low online and I eventually came to the conclusion that, with 32gb of RAM, the pagefile is best left to be managed by Windows.

Leave it by default ๐Ÿ˜Ž

If I let Windows manage it, its sets it at around 5GB and apps/games often crash, not sure why it won't properly increase it when needed, maybe its too slow. I had it at 16GB and its stable for months now. Finished Resident Evil 4 Remake in 4K with ultra settings + RT and not a single crash, Cyberpunk 2077 crashes when opening menus/inventory :/

Not saying that this is what's causing the crashes, but your specs say you're on Windows 10? I found that Windows 11 is better at handling memory than Windows 10 in my opinion, and therefore makes a better gaming OS, provided you turn off all the virtualization security measures and disable core isolation.
