Dont know how FSR and VRAM got dragged in to this.
Anyway, FSR is some new titles is really not an option if you care about Image quality.

prices have skyrocketed for 3 years now because of "limited inventory" and suddenly we learn that they have an inventory that they do not know what to do with.
And the prices are still 2x-3x what they were until the 2000 series. How is that for capitalism and consumer power?

Hold the line gentlemen, the nKraken starts to shiver.

If you can't play at your display's full resolution, FSR is a nice free way to make it look a little better, but it shouldn't ever be used as an excuse to get a lower-end card and expect to upscale at nearly-max fidelity. It also should never be only-enabled in hardware reviews (but I feel the same about DLSS in that regard).
What about Hell Ti?
Yeah, and perhaps some of us want to play something other than Metro for a decade. Some of us already have a GPU that is nearing 10 years old. I want to upgrade but it's BS what my options are after all this time.

Jensen can get bent with the present atrocious pricing, I wish them only the worst.
I could make use of 24gb vram, but I'm content to wait for 3090 used pricing to hit $600...
