Thats BS. Good thing we have notebookcheck and the likes to help guide us so we can decide based on data. I think both power consumption of the GPU and TDP of laptop cooler should be listed by the manufactorer. Its so important as wattage is liked directly to performance from generation to generation.

Took a while to bring RTX 3000 to laptops. I hope prices will not go up as there are many laptops with 2060 at good price. 2070, not so much.

I don't know why they even introduced max-q, min-p in the first place. One ver. from each segment and kudos. Obviously max-confusion is the way it's meant to be played.

you're missing the point completely here,seems like they do too.using a lower tdp version of tu106 die for mobile product is not misleading in any way even though it doesn't perform like a desktop 2070.it's hwunboxed who are terribly confused.just cause it performs like a desktop 16600ti doesn't mean it's supposed to be labelled 1660ti.imo this is idiotic.

nvidia are clearly confusing the end user here,but not the way you are claiming.

I dont understand all the fuss about the naming.. It has been that forever. You have never gotten the same performance of a desktop GPU in a mobile unit with the same name. Its understandable that they arent suppose to yield the same result. The same with mobile processors. Do people really think a mobile Ryzen 5900HX is even remotely close to the same performance of a 5900X desktop CPU?
A TDP of 35-45W vs well over 105W (non turbo) would yield the same?
