Someone clearly didn't read the article to it's end. 😉

They shouldn't have released Turing at this point. The problem is that it's just too large to manufacture using the node that they are currently using. It's so large that it can't be anything else than expensive. I have a feeling that 20x0 series will not last very long.

So, previous estimation was that they made profit of $1.68B from revenue of $2.7B. (Production cost $1.02B and products sold for $2.7B.) New estimate is that they made profit of $1.21B from revenue of $2.2B. (Production cost $0.99B and products sold for $2.2B.) Does it mean that in both cases they knew that they made ~ $1B of products worth, but previously thought that they sold more of them? I mean, is that $0.5B worth of inventory? That's huge number.

Investors must be furious, RTX is not taking off as well. yikes

I saw this in the morning - I couldn't help but notice when my trader app notified me of the huge dip in P&L. $500 million revision on top of the already $700 million revision that they made previous earning... what a shitshow. At least it gives some indication as to how Turing is doing - badly. I voted with my wallet against Turing and looks like it worked. For some reason, their highly overpriced and underperforming RTX cards aren't selling as well as they thought - who would have guessed? 😛

Oh yes, I am fuming mad right now. The past few months have been nothing but disappointment from Nvidia and I am planning on voting against Huang with my shares.

"NVIDIA Drops Q4 Revenue Expectations by Half a Billion Dollars, mentioning the lack of sales on their High-End GPUs due to consumers waiting for lower prices." Good job people, vote with you wallet.

Jensen should just resign, he'll ruin the company.

Id love to know how much it cost them to make these cards and that quote "Looking forward, we are confident in our strategies and growth drivers." makes me think they wont be lowering prices.

Well I have CNN on in the background and they said Nvidia was blaming it on China. I’ll try to catch the actual details on the loop.
Are you sure they blamed China and not Trump? They do not even follow trends. Or maybe China is new "To be Hated"?

I've never wanted a piece of hardware LESS than I want an RTX card. It's the least attractive product Nvidia has ever made, even worse than the FX 5800 Ultra. Even if the 2080Ti was $700 like the 1080Ti was, I'd pass on it easy. My 1080Ti is still such a good card and the small increase offered by the RTX series is not exciting at ANY price, let alone the absolutely hilarious, side splittingly funny, meme worthy asking amount of $1200-1600 these cards are going for.

Looking at this stock, it looks like it's bouncing for either another leg down, or worst, a dead cat bounce. Not long good.
