He doesn't cook in his leather jacket?!

That oven is not shinny enough that's not a proper use of RTX. It's supposed to reflect everything like a mirror would.

What he is showing you here is that the card will cost as much as that stove and get just as hot. lol

I'm going to go with the whole kitchen on the cost.... And yeah quite possibly as hot at the oven can get. HA!!

Jokes aside. It apparently has multiple dies. And he did call it (single) "Graphics Card"... not "Set of Graphics CardS".

It has to be some nice virgin leather for new jacket.. I read it in his book - The way its meant to be backed™

I could have sworn Jensen Huang is the kind of guy that goes as far as to sleep in his leather jacket, yet alone wear it around the house. Oh well... 🙄 Smells good though, I'd eat the whole ray-tray! [youtube=ObpcGNCU944]

Since I'm not in the server industry, I'll only eagerly await for consumer product information. At least we already know Nvidia has already sold, or is it pre-sold, plenty of the new gen Tesla cards for upcoming Epyc based supercomputers, so perhaps all Ampere cards will be PCIe 4.0 by default.

If I can't do Quad SLi then I'm not buying...

He could just be showing us how to "fix it" by baking it.

Jensen's missing his leather jacket. I guess he needs a new one. Prepare for high prices! 😉 That said, I'm very much looking forward to what Nvidia has to offer with the upcoming generation of video cards (and hopefully AMD will bring a proper battle on all fronts to them this time around, too).

I think due to corona virus outbreak and shortage, each card will be hand baked in Huang's house.:p ------------------------------------------------------------------ The DGX A100 system featuring eight Tesla A100 computing processors will be showcased at GTC 2020 during Jensen’s keynote. https://hexus.net/media/uploaded/2020/5/b179bef7-49e4-46cb-9d3d-dba70bf16c38.jpg The GA100 GPU, the Tesla A100 is based on, will be the first product based on NVIDIA Ampere architecture. There are some changes to the design of the DGX/HGX system compared to Tesla V100-based. The NVSwitch heatsinks have been upgraded and are now full towers, likely meaning that the interconnect bandwidth has increased for this generation.

That looks scarily expensive.

its almost as if he is implying that the whole serverboard with seemingly 8 gpus can be addressed as 1 gpu perhaps? as he says the biggest gpu

I think I'll need a bigger case...

lmao , this is funny stuff.

Kinda reminds me of some old sci-fi films, where the system is made of multiple blocks of processors that you can just put in and pull out as needed....

When your so rich you can afford to have a gpu fab in the kitchen....
