I don't get something, why news title state "worsen" if news text say the problem have been resolved?

I have to say I'm surprised this is taking so long.

Microsoft really needs to reorganize the Windows team, and get the quality testers back.
They can't continue to release broken update, after broken update, and expect users to be the beta testers.

I installed win 11 chipsetdrivers for Asus black hero, using 5950x.
Went from 296fps in tombraider to 220fps.
Looks like it's just Amd that has problems like this?

I don't think there's enough data to conclude who is at fault here. Nevertheless, it lends credence to AMD detractors who profess that unlike Intel, there are always compatibility issues with their chips.

This is my result with 22741.1000, that was released before this last patch.

Seems MS already has the solution somewhere, but screwed up again, and released a broken update.

I assume this is down to which cores the Windows scheduler is putting threads on? The new scheduler designed to work for Big/Little architectures. I don't think L3 cache latency physically changes at all, does it? Seems strange that it would.

LOL and one of my friend with a 5900x upgraded to win 11 after I told him about the issue with Ryzen. I'm on 5800x and will stick to windows 10 in the mean time.

Only noobs and unemployed run fast to install a nonready OS. I'll stick with 10, I have a lot of research to do, there is life.

@itpro I agree 100% for a while I don't want the new "Windows super vista" lol 😀

Well, this is, or at least used to be, an enthusiast forum. We run to all sorts of nonsense because most of us have several PCs and can spare the resources to play beta testers if necessary.

People seem to forget in what kinda state windows 10 was released back in the day.
