Even their Wi-Fi 6E Deco ones are expensive af. I don't think I'm ever going to find anything to replace my 2 x £40 Honor router 3 which are Wi-Fi 6.

Just looking in Amazon, I can see the Wifi 5 RE200 for less than 30 € a piece, and the RE450 for less than 40 €...
Doesn't seem so expensive.
Wifi 6 RE505X is at 70 €. Not cheap, but not extremely expensive.

I paid 800.00 for my wifi 6e by Asus ET12 it is worth every penny it is a good deal with all the stuff it has I had a 199.99 router and it would do some crazy stuff DROP MY INTERNET ALL THE TIME GO IN AND OUT ON MY CAMERAS 4K I just couldn't handle it no more so I replaced with the Asus ET12 WOW a year later still running awesome no issues at all and all my 8 4k ptz 12mp cameras are working awesome!! save your money and buy that nice router you will be very happy you did I have a smart home and needed a nice router to keep up with the times next year it will be 1,200 FOR THE ET13 quad-band WiFi 7 (802.11be) hurry buy now MY NEXT ONE TO ADD TO my network is ROG Rapture GT-BE98 I order already be here tomorrow I been with the Republic of Gamers (ROG) since 2006 and asus since 1997

I honestly don't see the point of buying the latest and greatest when it comes to Wifi. The the kind of money top end routers cost, you can easily build yourself a far superior PFSense router with a couple of access points and have actual control of your network. Not to mention being able to block ads at the router and many other great features.
