None of that matters if the writing is good.
The problem with Netflix is that since they can no longer rely on external content, they have to mass produce their own. This obviously doesn't lend itself to quality programming. What makes it particularly egregious however is that since creating original content is risky, expensive and time consuming, they are trying to minimise exposure by grabbing every available franchise with a fanbase and trying to cash in on that. Every now and then they hit an accidental gem, but otherwise it's pure garbage dumpster fire.

I've played Infinite and after Infinite the 1st bioshock and both were really nice
I'm just thinking that a series would be probably better as the game or universe has soo much to tell

No, I'm serious. How does the existence of a thing you are free to ignore retroactively ruin something you otherwise enjoy and are free to continue to do so? I may not agree with the sequels and reboots to the Bible, and to be honest I'm not exactly big on all the episodes of the original either, but just like everyone else I pick and choose my canon.

Why on earth do you mind if a character has a certain identity?
Is the senario good? Is the screenplay decent? That's all that matters.
I mean, The Wire had a black gay murderer character, and he was great, the show was great.
By the way, Bioshock is one of my favorite games of all times, and one of the few that I actually got to finish.
