Wouldn't buy MSI in UK anyway. Most shops won't send cards to Europe for repair since Brexit so you can forget MSI if you live in Britain. I just had to UPS my card to them in Poland at HUGE cost.

How many of them are actually gonna end up in the hands of gamers? Two?

They have to make them look super spiffy so that there appears to be a reason to pay 3x retail for them. :P You know the scary part about the actual MSRPs skyrocketing is that unless there ends up being a huge glut of cards at some point the prices won't come down. If people will fight to pay $2k+ for a card they will keep charging it. However, if there is a mining bust (and that's very possible) the used card market will be filled with high-end cards going for next to nothing.

Don't worry, it will end up in some asshat's "mining farm" who won't give two shits about it. And guess what, neither will MSI.
